A good analogy is the car
driver's license. Once you have obtained your driver's license, you certainly
can't drive a car well, but you are empowered to get better on your own.
8. A: For each of your procedures, you will have an experienced English-speaking surgeon will be by your side. He will guide you and if necessary (temporarily) take over. The goal is to teach you as much as possible and to be able to operate on your own. However, in the first place is always the well-being of the patient! Complications should be avoided as much as possible complications should be avoided as much as possible, but unfortunately they usually occur at the beginning. Due to the size of the clinic and the number of surgeons and operating rooms, there is no
there is no time pressure in the operating room. Complications can therefore usually be solved directly by your
trainer intraoperatively or promptly in a follow-up procedure.
9. A: Your time here is valuable! Everything, what you can learn preparatory, you should
learn before! A very good way to do so, are wetlabs and surgical eye models. In particular, the contents of Dr. Uday Devgan are well suited as well:

10. A: Dahod
does not have its own airport. The journey can be made from Ahmedabad or Vadodara by train, bus or cab. We recommend arriving by taxi from cab from Vadodara. We will be happy to assist you with the booking in advance. The cost for the trip is about 4000 INR.
Gujarat is a dry state (alcohol ban) and is considered one of the safest states in India. Dahod has about 120,000 inhabitants and is a small city with provincial conditions. With English one usually gets along well with English. The people are helpful, open and cordial. The cityscape is characterized by street vendors and small traders, animals and chaotic traffic. Within walking distance of the clinic is a small supermarket for daily needs products. The rickshaw is the means of transportation of choice. The range of leisure activities is very limited. There are a few small gyms and a limited number of simple restaurants and cafes. A traffic-calmed stretch of greenery borders the clinic for walking or jogging.
11. A: Your own room is located in the residential building on the clinic grounds. It is air-conditioned,
but otherwise very simple and typically Indian. The furniture is a desk with a chair desk with chair, bed and closet. The private bathroom contains a western toilet, sink and shower. For the food consumption there are simple dishes and a kettle. Mattress, bed sheets, pillows, bed linen and towels are provided.
In the in-house canteen a daily dish can be served for lunch. Typical Indian breakfast and dinner can be delivered to the room on request. A meal costs about 100 INR.
For about 2000 INR per month a maid will clean your room once a week and do your laundry (by hand).
your laundry (by hand).
Should you wish for more comfort, you can stay at your own expense in a nearby hotel. The best hotel in town is
"The Central Plaza Hotel", which is close the the clinic.
